We have been relaxing in the last few days, no long walks or exciting partying, to be honest, the weather has not been ideal; cool, windy, and some rain..... Scotland.
Today we walked the Fife coast path to Kirkcaldy and back. It was great to be on a walking path for walkers; no cars, no bikes, no horses. It is a good path but not great and certainly not pristine, but the views were good and all the dog walkers friendly.

Well, nothing to write on Sunday or Monday because we didn’t do anything! Spent a couple of days lounging around, reading, and in general, relaxing.
Pretty perfect.
Weather has been very Scottish - gray skies, then a bit of sun, then some rain, then everything starts all over again. To say it changes quickly is an understatement.
Watched some gannets diving into the water for fish. They are like missiles.
Their wings come in close and their beaks point straight down and their bodies become crazy aerodynamic.
Also decided that Scotland is a great place to be a dog. They run around mostly off leash, carry balls or sticks in their mouths for anyone to throw for them, and play up and down the beach with all their dog buddies. They are everywhere!
Today we headed out for a fine walk along the Fife Coastal Path. The Path goes right in front of our cottage. An easy walk down the coast to Kirkcaldy and back. Saw some young seals schlumping on some rocks, some interesting black and white ducks, and of course, plenty of dogs.
Also walked by a Tower ruin with the looks of an old castle.
Dodged a few raindrops, as we have done every day in Scotland.
Back at the cottage now for some more serious relaxing.
